Red jade is a rather attractive stone for desk ornamentation. A bit too dark for most jewelry I think, but very nice when set against a nice mellow wood grain. Here’s the chop my mother purchased for me. It has some nice marbling…

Looks like it is just a phonetic translation of your name. 汤　= tang 1 æ¯ = mu 3 and æ–¯ = si 1. Tangmusi is pretty close to Thomas :-)
The meaning, as with most phoneticizations, is nonsense: Soup – Mother – Cultured. Nothing good, but nothing bad either. Just a phonetic approximation.
